Every month the plan is to introduce you to one of our members and their dogs, to give you a personal insight us. Each member will be asked the same 10 questions.
Our first victim is Tracy Evans :) Name: Tracy Evans Member since: 2013 No of Dogs: 1 Dog(s) name(s), sex, age(s) and breed(s): Oscar, GSD X Husky, 7 in Sept!!!!! Occupation: Nurse Lives in: Lincolnshire Dog sports participated in: Canicross, bikejor and agility, (also done Companion dog shows) Question 1: How did you start in the sport? Recommended to me by a friend, I bought my first harness and belt in a stable top sale to raise money to save a stray dog, who found her own forever home in a near death state. Question 2: Which was the first dog/dogs you raced? Oscar my GSD x Husky Question 3: How did you come to own your dog(s)? Oscar was a rescue from the local dog pound he was 7 mts when we got him and we were his 4th home. He was a very scarred and underweight boy. Question 4: Interesting fact about your dogs - Oscar has a Diary in Your Dog magazine, & is total poser possible planning world domination. Question 5: Interesting fact about yourself - I have raced against Paula Radcliffe in a national x country race & it took me exactly twice as long to complete the course Question 6: Biggest achievement in a race Completing a half marathon with Oscar without collapsing despite doing the first mile in 8 minutes Question 7: Dogs favourite treats - Steakhouse Fleischeslust meat & treat buffalo flavour (its also the only treat he has stolen so far) Question 8: Favourite Song Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer Question 9: Favourite Film Top Gun, especially the volley ball bit Question 10: Favourite cake It has to be Chocolate cake, with Maggies Strawberry cake a close second

The International Agility Festival (IAF) will take place on 13, 14, 15 & 16 August 2015 at Rockingham Castle, Rockingham, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 8TH - The NATB have some members attending - we will update you with their results after the event.
