As a newcomer understanding the class definitions can be daunting, especially when trying to enter your own event - below we have listed the most common ones for you with translations!
Suffix Meaning:
No suffix = Open Class 
NB = Registered Nordic Breed 
F = Freight 
E.g. DR6, DR6NB, DR6F

DR8 - dryland rig 8 dogs (min 5) (The class Maximum of dogs running is the class title e.g. DR3 = Max 3 Min 2)  

DR6 - dryland rig 6 dogs (min 4)

DR4 - dryland rig 4 dogs (min 3)

DR3 - dryland rig 3 dogs (min 2)  

DR2 - dryland rig 2 dogs (min 2) (1 dog freight only)

DRJ2 - dryland rig 2 dogs (Juniors aged 10 – 15)
           J2 Class is a timed competition with Competition Rules as per adult classes (no assistance). 
           J2 entrants must have competed in at least one previous event.  

DRJ1 - dryland rig 1 dog (Juniors aged 8 – 15 untimed)
           J1 Class is untimed with sensible adult assistance permitted throughout, observing Competition Rules, and from a timed                interval start.  

DRCJ1 - Junior canicross - short course

DS1 - Scooter 1 dog

DS2 - Scooter 2 dogs - (min 1)

DBM - Mens Bikejor 1 dog

DBW - Women's Bikejor 1 dog

DB2 - 2 dog Bikejor Men and Women  

DCM - Canicross men  

DCW - Canicross women

R Class - 2-4 dogs, 1 dog freight permitted (recreational and untimed) (enter on the day)
