NATB Dog Sports Insurance Requirement

All participants entering an NATB Dog Sports event must hold valid dog sport public liability insurance with a minimum cover of £5 million.

Please note that standard pet insurance policies (including but not limited to PetPlan, DirectLine, Animal Friends, Tesco Pet Insurance, and similar providers) do not meet this requirement. These policies are designed for veterinary care and general pet ownership, not for sporting or competitive activities.

If you do not currently hold sporting public liability insurance, this can be obtained through our affiliated sporting partners:

  • ​£32 Adult | £10 Junior
• UK9 Dog Sport Centre
  • ​£20 Adult | £10 Junior
